Angelblue - I actually met leeann before I started regularly posting on TA (was that the fall of 01?). Very cool girl who let a complete strange crash at her house, smoke several packs of cigarettes and covertly get ed up at that club...the 1180? I owe her about forty trips to atlanta by this point (despite her unwillingness to come hang out in columbus) and she is definitely one of my best friends online and off
D-Res - I literally met D-Res at a Park N Ride in the middle of ing Nowhere, Wisconsin (just north of the Bong Recreation Area). I expected him to be shorter than me; turns out hes like 6'3" or some . Definitely one of the most down to earth, coolest cats there is, even if he doesnt like The Streets :p
DJ RJT - So Im approaching this door to some nice quiet neighborhood house in Appleton, Wisconsin. I reach up to knock whe the door flies open and i see this guy with my exact haircut about to run out of the house. This is how I met DJ RJT who along with...
Myra (lücid) - who were probably the best hosts i've ever had the privlege of attending under. Of course she was standing about 3 feet from Rob when the door opened and they stared at me blankly for a minute before realizing that D-Res was behind me so I must be tribu. In truth, I expected them to be a bit dismissive, but they were extremely friendly and worth the trip. Not to mention the craziness at the party. And Rob totally bought my round of shots for no reason except for that I was there. These people single-handedly made me consider wisconsin as a possible destination when i move out of columbus. Thanks for the fun guys :)
UWM - So I get to rob's parentals as theyre going to the club to set up. So Im there, D-res, rjt, and myra are all gone, and im just kinda standing there like...uh...(basically cause im a loser who doesnt support my local forums). Im on the back porch, listening to this kid blab on about some girl and this pair come out from inside. Now, I'd only seen one picture of bobby (I think with a fish?), but I kinda figured it was him right away. I ended up introducing myself out front and hanging out a bit before at and after the club. Cool mother****** for sure, despite hid godly modly status
DJ Bas - Bas was the other person who came out with UWM ad I recognized him right away because of his whore off pics and that infamous one of him that got chopped 475832 times. I probably got to hang out with bas most of everyone on the trip (aside from d-res) and somehow, he ended up in like 80% of the pictures I took. Bas is definitely a pimp and a pretty good dj to boot.
djracebo (sp?) - Garth isnt really much of a cor whore but he was easily one of the friendliest from the wisco trip and one thing will stand out in my mind forever. Im in the back area of the appleton house (where the computer was) when he comes up to me like hes got the worlds most important secret to tell me. He gets me to follow him to he living room, points to 3 people who passed out within a 10 ft radius of a pretty decent set of speakers (while bobb or bas or someone was spinning) and he tics them of: Ambien! Ambien! Ambien! Apparently, these kids couldn't handle their prescription sleep aids :p He then proceeded to fall to the ground laughing. It was probably my favorite part of the trip and if i ever write a movie, i will duplicate that scene somehow.
Thats all the TAs Ive met to this point. I hope to meet alot more in the future :)
I tried to hang out with boomer, but he didnt want to cause hes too cool for me :( YGrene also live like 3 hours away but i havent met him. Oh and Lebezniatakov, even though hes in minnesota for some inexplicable reason |
