Dont get me wrong, if you're voting local politicans, like city mayor, MP or some other small duck, then the chances are they'll do you good because they work for your local interests. But for the "global" political system, presidential elections are pre-determined. Policial games, deceit and behind-the-scenes compromises and treaties have long ago decided who runs the country and who gets what. Thats my overview on it, no point in arguing this because I am not pulling out any more "hard evidence" because as I noticed earlier its completely pointless and a waste of time for a college student who is trying to catch up on advanced physics.

Hmm, perhaps, or we could hope that Matthews actually puts such quotes in context on fictional stories, especially those stories based on the insanities of war like that of Vietnam. Perhaps that's something that McCain could attest to, and perhaps that's why he even ENDORSED Webb's book:
