Well whatever, you didn't need to start a childish argument with me over something so trivial and stupid as this. I just clarify my points so you understand them and not merely bash everything I say or get into name calling or whatever. I know guys like you hate me on here, but I don't care really. I don't make them for no reason, and maybe if you guys stopped being so argumentative or judgemental over everything I say, then maybe I wouldn't have to get into never-ending posts as you state. I just try most of the time to have intelligent and respectful discussions about things, and clarify instead of attack. I HATE getting into arguments, so I do whatever I can to avoid them...instead I try to get you to at least understand my point of view and hope you can respectfully disagree without treating me like i'm an idiot who doesn't know . |

| You go into never-ending posts in the most peaceful of situations. And most of the time you talk crap. Like now. I've heard plenty of bull about This Binary Universe, and a lot of it has come from your direction. A lot of people have read stuff and played it expecting something it isn't, and it's people like you who are to blame. People who can't just state a bloody opinion, but have to turn it into something bombastic and pretentious and exaggerated. |

It's not like Ima at all.
Not in the slightest.
Not even a ing tiny, little bit. |

Talk crap? well maybe as far as what you think I say is crap, but I don't name call or make personal attacks like you guys. Plenty of bull? Yeah to you, but to me...it's just my opinion that i'm clarifying so you understand it without leaping to conclusions about what i'm saying. "I see your point....however" I don't get that from you guys on here, except "your full of you f**king loser", okay you might not say that outright but you come across like that's what you think.
I don't expect you to agree, but I do expect a little respect and for some intelligent discussion and disagreement and not senseless argument. I realize I've gotten into them before on here and have tried to avoid them, but most of the time it's when I say something I think is harmless and it's made out to be the worst or stupidest thing that I said, when all I was stating was a point of view. My point...disagree respectfully instead of jumping on the "your full of " bandwaggon. I am not stating i'm right, and your wrong..k. I'm not arguing technicalities, I realize I don't know THAT much. I'm a theme/idea person, I look at music from a more literary and imaginative perspective. And this is so subjective...and I realize I have faults and I ramble...k...live with it...i'm not a perfect person. |

It's so simple what i'm trying to say....
1. Both albums have a pretty consistent style of music throughout...
2. The track titles, the varied moods of the tracks...make it seem more like there is an idea behind it...a hidden message.
Not that the albums themselves sound similar, if I said that, I take that back. But that they have these two things in common vs. some of his other albums that have pretty different styles throughout. I do change my mind based upon what you guys say and I guess it's a stream of conciousness approach I take...from talking I start to rethink what I say. That's all I'm saying about it really...end of story. |

Oh, fine. Then Ima and TBU are both like Aphex Twin's Drukqs, Metallica's Black Album and, hell, Tool - Lateralus too.
And this weird 90's hardcore compliation I have. |

No as far as BT albums are concerned, not making generalities about all of these different artists out there. I'm not comparing it to everything else, just to that album. Why does this have to be such a big issue? I never stated Ima or TBU were the same....I said in my original post they were different... |

Yes, but the "similarities" it has Ima are the same as the similarities it has to Black Album. Get it? |

Yeah but the black album is Metallica...a different style of music and a different band/artist obviously. I'm just looking at this from BT's music approach to it...creating an album of mostly one style of music, with different moods yeah, but not as eclectic as say Movement In Still life, with electro and breakbeat tracks, mixed in with melodic trance, and some indie-sounding pop/rock music. The same with ESCM, though a little more on the dance side of things, and Emotional Technology was a bit like MISL and ESCM combined..quite eclectic. What i'm saying is so simple, it's not even worth getting into a debate about. It's so trivial, all I'm doing is stating the obvious from listening to and owning all of his albums. |

No, J made several good points that I have yet to see answered instead of covered up in wordy blubber. |
