| Whatever, this is so stupid...a waste of time. I'm done with it. |

True, I'm just talking about like this: :whip:

That's as unnecessary as 1/3 of the wording in Spirit's posts. ;) |

Haha thanks for defending me Miami. I don't get any respect on here...:nervous:
I get more respect in the DJ Booth...cause I am pretty helpful.
I think if I got more respect I wouldn't write these long drawn out explanations/clarifications all the time. I think we all should have more respect for each other on here. It's something that is sadly lacking on this board. You can respect someone without agreeing with them. I don't disrespect System-J, but he hasn't done anything that could be deamed respectful towards me. I don't know what I do on here to get people so hostile towards me other than me looking at things differently than some other people, disagreeing or just my long posts that I wish I could make shorter but that's not possible for me right now. Just cause I make them, doesn't mean I can't be respected. I don't come on here to make enemies with people or start arguments, just speak my mind and that is what you should be able to do on a forum, respectfully... |

Until you can logically demonstrate why something is right, you have no authority to start awarding points. Now off.

Yeah but the black album is Metallica...a different style of music and a different band/artist obviously. I'm just looking at this from BT's music approach to it...creating an album of mostly one style of music, with different moods yeah, but not as eclectic as say Movement In Still life, with electro and breakbeat tracks, mixed in with melodic trance, and some indie-sounding pop/rock music. The same with ESCM, though a little more on the dance side of things, and Emotional Technology was a bit like MISL and ESCM combined..quite eclectic. What i'm saying is so simple, it's not even worth getting into a debate about. It's so trivial, all I'm doing is stating the obvious from listening to and owning all of his albums. |
That doesn't make it a "companion album". The phrase "companion album" implies a far greater thing than what you've managed to prove- a very tenuous connection. Furthermore, you stated much more than this post in your initial attempt, most of which I shot to pieces for simply being incorrect. If you strip away half of what you said and try and seriously downplay what a phrase like "companion album" implies then your point just about holds water. |

Ok then I take that back. Like I said, not everything I state is set in stone. You act like it is, like I can't change my mind. I stated in one of my posts I changed my mind and will continue to. And that's fine, we have a right to change our minds. Someone might say something one day, and after talking with someone, they might change their mind and this is what happened with me. It's better than being unwavering and not ever change your mind...kind of like our president George W. Bush, who hardly ever changes his minds. So after what you said, I rephrased/revised my point. |

God, I never thought I would be the one who had to say this, but...
I don't think I've ever seen a more pointless argument than this. Don't you kids have anything better to do? |

Exactly, it is pointless. I never meant to get into an argument over this....never expected what I said to be turned into one. Maybe an intelligent..respectfull discussion..disagreement, but not "your full of " type thing. I can't stand that attitude on here... |

No, but as an observer of this thread I have the authority to defend someone against undeserved personal attacks. It's one thing to debate music, it's another to rip on a guy. Btw, the language isn't helping your cause. |

There's no more or less point to this than most discussion on TA. |

Exactly, there is so many people on here who do personal attacks without really trying to understand what someone is saying, rather just attack attack with this "your full of " type attitude. Has Ishkur influenced this board that much that people feel it's cool or macho to be disrespectful and downright rude on here?. I didn't care to get into an argument about this or anything really, all I ask for is people to UNDERSTAND what I say and RESPECTFULLY disagree with me without attacking it. If I am wrong with something technically, tell me why I am wrong and what is right. If I have a misundestanding..do the same. If you have a misunderstanding...ask for clarification. That's all....quite simple i'de say. |

And you're defending him by posting antagonistic comments that say very little about conduct? And I know the language isn't helping my "cause". Neither is it hindering it. I say "" for emphasis. It has no impact on the logic of my argument, and if you find yourself disagreeing with me simply because I swear then you're a poor debator.

What's the point of this? You think you'll make me stop an argument because Mr Mystery deems it a waste of time? What's the point of any argument, any post, any thread on any forum? Do you partake in many arguments that have more "point" than this? Is there any point ever in arguing about music? Please enlighten me on exactly what the you think the "point" should be. |
