I thought it was all right. I danced. there were a lot of big tunes from the airy fairy tech prog category of music being produced right now. not much minimal...lee's set was great.
Then around 4, Holden couldnt carry a beat if his life depended on it. trainwreck after trainwreck stopped the dancefloor dead in its tracks. It was absolutely horrible! I got my coat....it totally killed my groove. |

I had a wedding/reception to attend earlier on in the night so by the time I picked Sasha up and got to the club it was almost 2am. I missed Lee's set and the first hour of Holden.
It was a very deep progy techy kinda set. I know for some it could be too experimental for them but it has been a sound that I have acquired along the way for sure. I wasn't always a Holden fan. I also have a fascination of standing behind the booth (thanks Sasha) and just watching him do this thing. Yes, he stopped the music dead in his tracks last night around the 4:15 mark and there were a couple screw-ups that I noticed but I still loved Holden's set. The crowd was much nicer as far as clubs go as well. Not pushy, there for the music and to have fun. Some people were very random as well and I find the club very dark, but my overall experience of the club is good. :)

I had a wicked time out with ya and it has been a long time since we've done that as well. We gotta do that again sometime.
It was nice to see Sarah, Mark, Kelly and Peter out as well. And Porky, I guess you got kicked out before we could be introduced.. lol, ah well..next time! :p |

I was soooo disappointed when Sasha said that you weren't coming. And I didn't get your txt msgs until after the reception cuz I had no service for some reason for txt'ing at the hall. :conf:

haha it's definately been one of my worse weeks of the year...but today I feel super duper :whip: Like wtf? lol... thx though Jenn..I'm sure Sasha gave you extra hugs for me :) |

It sounds as if you are writing his whole set off to be bad with this. It was just the last 45 min. At least the rest of his set was stellar up to that point. (imo anyhow) |
