As long as you could demonstrate that the exchange of money was for her appearance in your film you should be alright. That said I wouldn't try it unless you are a registered business and have obtained the appropriate permits. |

see but all of these points kinda fall apart.
let's say i decide to open basically a brothel. the brothel allows you to basically make your own porn movie...the service is "be a pornstar for a day" or whatever. i make patrons undergo STD tests and everything so the girls are safe bla bla bla... and afterwards you get a tape to take home...
no way something like that would be allowed outside nevada, yet that sort of thing goes on all the time in porn. i don't see really a difference...yet one is legal and one isn't...seems kinda silly. |

Probably the best example I can think of is the labor union for Dutch prostitutes. That union provides them with better benefits than the majority of Americans have, regardless of their occupation. |

i agree with you... it definitely seems ed up, but then again it's also ed up that alcohol is legal and pot isn't. |

That would actually be legal in certain countries, for instance Germany, where prostitution is now regarded as a regular service industry with its own trade union and taxtation regulations.
But you're still making a movie of women who came to the brothel to sell their bodies to random men and make money. Not one of women who sell a fantasy created on screen by two consensual parties under contract. |

how often do pornstars go to colleges and students...is that not something similar to what i just described? there is an entire industry of porn out there that is taking unproffessional pornstar men...and giving them the chance to pornstars...
i'm not selling the women...i'm selling an experience...like a fantasy porn camp. |

that's why i said "i mean i know there's some sketchy porn out there"... because i know a lot of the time they don't use condoms, but i'd assume they at least require pretty frequent STD testing.
and i know there are a few production companies that require the use of condoms... Vivid Video i think might be one of them? |
