Toronto has one of the highest (if not the highest) merchandising markets of ANY sport.
Sure they'll balk at the initial thought, the immediate knee-jerked reaction will be that they'll be stealing revenue from their market.
If they'd step back out from their vaults for a second they'll realize that any healthy competition breeds marketing dollars.
They'd probably MAKE money in the long run.
Besides, how can they loose if they're already been monetarily compensated before a single game is even played??? :conf: |

I think the difference is that they are broadcasting and here this is a message board, regardless of its name the discussions that go on here are what is important to the people who make up the community of the board.
I wasn't trying to be big brother like with my comment and was by no means suggesting that this type of talking be banned, all i was saying is that I find it annoying. |

I just watched an interview between Michael Landsberg and Jason Spezza and Danny Heatley. It was bloody ridiculous. I just hate how canadian sports broadcasters blather on and on about the most pointless if it even remotely relates to hockey.
