Yay!

I have 30 tracks in my crate right now, what a f*cking eclectic mix too, lol.

Rob - there's some sick new Gui Boratto remixes in the past couple of days.

Hot damn! I'm glad I waited to finalize my beatporting until today - Looks like I'm about to empty my bank account! Thanks for the heads up Bobby! :)

As a side note: Is anyone else often times utterly baffled by the genres beatport decides to put certain tunes in?

definitely. i think its good and bad though.. bad for obvious reasons (cant find what you want sometimes), but good because when you find a track you want in the wrong genre, you can cruise through the uncharted territory and stumble across some other good tunes you never would have found in the first place.

..regardless, beatport manages to pretty much empty my bank account no matter what i am looking at. damned internet stores

Yeah, some of them are really bizarre. But like Razzi said, it's sort of forced me to comb though as much as I can and I've ended up stumbling across some really solid tracks I otherwise would've missed.

Definitely agree with both you guys - I stopped looking through the "Electro House" genre a few months ago because in my narrow view, it was all going to just "sound the same."

How wrong I was... Same with the "Minimal" genre - I don't care for a ton of what I think minimal purists would consider minimal, but I've definiltey found some chill/funky tracks in there...

, this is killing me.

where have i heard Dirtbike - Loafer (Original Mix)?

i'm pretty sure it's from a mix/CD/liveset i've listened to many many times, but i can't figure it out. i hate when this happens.

Well, there goes my $70 for this week... I'm just findin' too much good music on Beatport right now :)

Music is as bad an addiction as crack. :)

It'll be interesting to compare and contrast our purchase... I wonder how much overlap there will be :stongue:

lücid
lol it's awesome that this has turned into a "let's discuss our Beatport shopping/purchases" thread. :D

one of the sickest tracks i got was filed under Trance... and it's definitely got an old classic trance vibe to it but it's gonna fit in sooo well with lots of the prog house stuff i bought.

soooo... who wants to spin tonight?!

Bobby and I have already had some preliminary discussions on the topic :stongue:

Do you have blanks at home or do I need to do some shopping?
