5 was a guestimate... its actually 10th. considering that there are well over 200 cities in pa, i dont think i was that far off ;)

"Important cities in Pennsylvania[32] include Allentown, Altoona, Bethlehem, Chester, Easton, Erie, Harrisburg, Lancaster, New Castle, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Reading, Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Williamsport, and York."

from http://www.wvwebsites.com/weather/PA_Weather.php

its the 10th w/ population ~ w/ economy we are better than 10th and voted the "hamburger capital of the world" because we have more resturaunts per capita than any other city in the us. dont tell me buddy... i have lived in altoona my whole life! and calling me an ignorant fool makes you a hypocrite :) and how was i even being ignorant?

You clearly missed the point...your retort to the first reply in the thread set you on a path where nobody is going to bother replying constructively to you.

basic manners of decency which you should learn. be an ass and you will get ass replies.

and you clearly didn't search. i could just post the link that took me all of 2 minutes to find...but i won't.

When I was DJing at my peak I would get between 200 to 300 British Pounds a night ( I have earned far less and far more for individual nights too), but since I stopped DJing my salary has gone down sooooo much that it's actually at a point where I have considered stepping out again just for that reason alone (Not saying it's the only reason). It's basically been 2 months since I quit and to be honest I am climbing the walls and whilst I don't hate my day job that I have now but it is a major change in lifestyle and is causing my life to feel really dull and basically I just feel like I'm in the rat race again and that is so not me.

I basically quit DJing so I could spend more time with my familly but I am miserable and to be frank, they work so hard that by the time we get together they are too tired to socialise in any meaningful way.

Mrs Nem is back at University now so I have to say that my break has been one of the must unfulfilling ventures of my life. I will be starting to play gigs here and there leading up to Christmas and see how I feel after that.

Cheers
Nem

I agree that pointing out grammatical faults is not the way to go.

On the other hand I don't agree with the poster who said that it's disrespectful to talk about that here. There have been many threads about this, not to mention that just because you search you will only get old info. With something like this it changes constantly as any economy does. New guys getting to play out etc.

In my experience, if you see a post that anoys you, either reply to it well or ignore it. People throwing insults back and fourth does not constitute a good forum.

i get paid 100 -150 bucks to spin in new york cityyyy.

also, i even do gigs for no money. got one coming up this friday at crobar nyc (biggest club in new york), and they aint paying me squat. pretty good promotion though since my name gets put on a flyer w/ Ferry Corsten.

so be happy.. you're making more money in pa than i am in nyc.
