[REVIEW] Armin at Crobar 10.07.06 (pg. 2)

What a night...
Yanks Done
Mets Advance!
I thought Armin was good but not great. Wasn't thrilled with all the pushing and shoving going on where I was, and there was a fight right behind me. Was also hoping to here more tracks from some ASOTs over the summer and heard a bunch of new tracks (time for me to listen to the last month's ASOT lol). Noticed that guy with the WWF championship belt and Hulk Hogan garb - Great!! Also early in Armin's set, the equipment f-ed up during the new Kristy Harkshaw track. Overall, I gave this night 7/10.
Stayed til 5, then headed towards Grand Central to get there and see the Daily News headline of Joe Torre being fired and Lou Pinella coming in.
WOW....
BTW, I was the guy wearing the David Wright t-shirt. Let's Go Mets!!! (and let's get rid of A-Rod) |

The guy dressed up as Hulk Hogan was also there at the Tobacco Warehouse. I guess that party got him hooked. :eek: :wtf: |

Nope. Made Events gets them only for particular shows. |

thats Hollywood..hes been at every Armin party ive been to..i talked to him at the Tobacco Warehouse in July..hes an actor and said he was going to be in Spiderman 3..hell be at Ferry next week too...watch haha |

| Hollywood is the man, I danced behind him and got to hold the championship belt, thank God for AVB or I would to have had to jump off the brooklyn bridge due to my beloved Yankees. He played my favorite track right now, Black is the colour the coco and green mix, also played the new vocal track by Hackshaw "outsiders:, pretty limited vocal songs, more or less he played hard trance with some melodic breaks mixed in, not the same melodic vocal tracks he played in Brooklyn, place was packed, everone was moving, Armin was working the crowd, smoke machines, lasers, wrestling superstars, what a night!!! my first time being at crobar for such a big event, ive been there for Ferry but he had his residency so that doesent count in my mind, overall I like the more vocal tracks with breaks, but Im also an old man so its hard to go by me, but I still had a fantastic time and the least I could do is spend $35 to see Armin since I get ASOT for free every week, every time he comes out I will support him |

| As mentioned it was nothing like his Brooklyn show. After I got over my disappointment at not being able to look like a complete fool, singing along at the top of my lungs to songs I recognized, I danced my ass off. Haven't danced that much in months. Great, great night. |
