Kenneth Thomas.....last time i heard him play was earlier this year at beba lounge and he played dark dirty proggy trance. One of the best sets ive heard this year......last night was fluffy, vocal, and then more fluff. not what i was expecting and tottally disapointed.....hope to see him again when hes got longer, i can hear the potential..
Nic Fancouli: ing awesome, esp the end of his set , fun house
Seb Fontaine: I heard but i was a drunken mess at this point, dont rememeber too well.
Sander Van doorn : ing awesome, this is what trance is supposed to sound like, i didnt expect anything even close to that. 2nd best trance set ive heard this year.
deep dish: good but not freedom good......way too loud at the end, what were u guys thinking? Ive never heard the guvy main room system pushed like that. It was terrible.

Yeah Sundays show was amazing...Now I finally got some rest and can reflect on what happened....
I have to say first off...Mark Oliver was playing great when i first got inthere around 10-10:30....Kurt Maverick - The Rub Great in Tune!!!!All the tracks he was spinning was Bangin!! whether it be house or trance..he knows how to throw the down!.!.!
Kenneth Thomas...i was expecting to hear some great stuff...No Offence to anybody else, i just couldnt really get into what he was playing...reaalllly reeally fluffy trance....not really what im into, even tho there are tracks of this kind that has got to me.
Paul Oakenfold...let me just say this, wow...I wasnt expecting too much because i havent really heard from him any sets, and I read alot of reviews that he really isnt that great....but my mind was made up and i think he did an amazing ing job on sunday...Whipping out JESSYLYN---OMNIA HOLY I WAS BERZERK....and then when Southern Sun came on....My and my buddies almost shedded a tear....everything he was playing was just outstanding....
At then end of Oakie's set...i went out for a smoke with my buddy...which i had to go through guv....at that point once i entered I did not want to leave!!!!!That night i was strickly there for the haus....For the trance....i do like house...but did not want to miss anyone, i wish i went to guv durring kenneth' set....guv was BANGIN for the 5 min i was in there...which was around whenever oakenfolds set disapated...i think maybe between 2-3....The ing red lasers as everyone talked about holy ...i fancy the blue ones as well..greeen ones are pretty generic...but enough about the in lights lol....
I made it back in for Second Sun....I hevent heard anything from them before so of course i went on youtube to see what their about...And I was ahppy to see that these guys go ing insane when kicks are popped!!I mean i saw the thunderstruck video from ultra spin 9.....and was so excited to see them going ing wild.....So back in hoolhaus...when my friend told me he showed them (second sun) his cellphone with..thunder...typed on it...and got a nod from them with a huge grin....i ing went insane.....before the song was even played....so when i heard the rif.....holy i knew what to expect and ing literally went mental...those guys are ing great....and at the end of their set, they were playing really fast hard trance stuff that really got to me....I got a chance to have a conversation with them...and really letting them know how they got to me, told them i would never miss them live again in toronto....they are really genuine, and appreciative...really great stuff...they know how to get the crowed pumpeddd.....
And now finally...for the main ing event.....Holy where to begin....direct dizco......................opener ....i dont know what to say.........he played everyhting that i wanted to be played.......Divini and Warning - 4LB (which was actually played by oakie too) so i am so happy i heard it twice.....Arctic monkeys vs SVD - Sun Goes Down....jesus....what a tune.....Tiesto's Dance4Life (SVD MIX).....honestly It kills all the other versions of D4L...Yellow - Oh Yeah Oh Six (SVD MIX) YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS HEARING THE CHIKA...CHIKA FADE IN MADE ME SMILE EAR TO EAR......especially comming from sander himself....One thing i was hoping to hear so badly was...Abel Ramos - Te Quiero Puta!....and sander did drop this...which was un-describable......Enjay - Real High...Randy Ktana - Sex.....and last but not least..finally i got to hear it in a club.....FRED BAKER VS NYRAM - LUNAR ECLIPSE.......i think my ears were bleeding at one point during the song lol.....Sander best set i have ever heard...and me saying that beats out the one of tiesti on may 21st at docks...which was really a good ing set....it got degraded to good now because of your set lol....
Yeah once again i met coxx..really nice guy, Cinek....dude your ing Great man...you wre nonstop the whole night....illnada too....there wasnt one time i saw you and you werent putting craters into the ground....and plastik boy....it as hard trying to hear what u were saying to me most of the time...but you were probably asking me what the name of this track is...LOL goodtimes buddy...im looking forward to partying with you guys again soon....lo loh yeah illnada...dont think u remember but there was this little tiny ukrainian guy with glassses trying to talk to you...i know him...he comes up to me and says...that girl is mean i tried talking to her and just ignored me....lol i say she was nothing but nice to me wtf are you talking about.....I dunno he can come onto too strong...hes really annoying lol...
ok only one more thing which i thought was truly discusting....I dont really care if people do drugs and .... e..k...coke...whatever ....but when your right in front of the ing dj busting mounds...and im talking mounds of k on their hands to the point where u have take take four trips to get it all in ur nose......is just ing whack...I guess since their triads....because 75 percent of the guv population usually are....and it looked like a family gathering.....this was during second sun, they were right in front of me......Very Rude.....and i couldnt even believe that they were doing that right in front of those guys....im sure they''ve seen it before...but to me it was just not right....
All in All ING GREAT NIGHT..MET GREAT PEOPLE...AND HAD A BLAST WITH MY BEST FRIENDS....

Where do I begin....
Well Lets just say I was very impressed with all the Dj's in the KH.
Mark Oliver was amazing...I can't believe I just wrote that. But he dropped a really good trance set. Oakie BLEW my faackin mind away, Kenneth was sick as well.....

got there around midnight .. headed to KH to catch KT's set .. good stuff as usual but yes i am biased :) .. didnt catch much of Oakey .. wasnt really feeling his set and wandered off to check out the other rooms ..
personally didnt find the overall place to be all that busy .. except for the Drink .. madhouse in there .. couldnt move and hot as hell .. but wicked tunes! nice to see the Skybar was open .. too bad they didnt toss a few of the locals up there to spin .. there were quite a few people up there chilling and trying to cool off when we went up .. Orange room .. disgusting lol .. the smell walking through there was just gross .. need better ventilation in there or something
Second Sun .. wicked set .. had heard a few of their sets prior to going and didnt really feel their sound .. but live WOW .. amazing set .. would definately check them out again
Sander .. awesome as well .. didnt stay for much of his set though as i really wanted to go see the Dish .. so off to Guv i went for the remainder of the night .. i really enjoyed Deep Dish .. 6th time seeing them and i still love them .. left at 8:15 .. hurt like hell still today .. i think my age is finally catching up to me lol :tongue3
brought my camera and didnt take one pic all night .. thats a first .. but i was just too busy dancin to be snappin pics :D |

well, awesome night for me. 2nd time at the Guv (last time was in feb)and got totally ing lost. Got Guv & Koolhaus mixed up too and stood in the wrong room thinking "where the is Fancuilli?" and at 12:30am thinking "where the are the TAs"
So I dont believe I met anyone. You may remember me being in there (See T shirt)
Oaky bored me.
I did see Fancuilli however and again he was awesome. Rest of night very blurry / sketchy to me. I overdid it. all i know is I was at a german bar beforehand and wore a stupid green hat for 2 hours.. WTF?
