I couldn't agree with you more!
in Pony up and get it all up there in one shot! None of this lingering around 2, 3 , 4 hit bumps, what are we amateurs here!

I cannot believe I made it out to this :nervous: After attending two events the night before and not getting ANY sleep...I felt and looked like a zombie!...and it definately shows, since I'm not really smiling in pictures, heh. Doing 3 parties, in two days, without sleep, completely sober is a mission! Alas, it was one I handled well, but I don't expect to be doing this again anytime soon... Fortunately, my legs and body were rejuvenated, and my energy levels stayed high..how? I wish I knew...lol. But this was one of the most enjoyable all access Guv parties. For most of the night, I always had a suitable amount of room to do my thing; people were pushy but some were polite. I felt like a clown too...every minute something ridiculous was being said or done by me...I have no clue what got into me...such a wacko. From doing the "elbow dance", screaming out "This is my space! Move, bitch!", to yelling out ", Yes!" and "Fumasa!!!"....I had lost my voice lol. I also had a tremendous amount of fun popping those giant balloons with my teeth...the sketchbags behind me were freaked out! Bwahahahaha. The people who were around were pretty much afraid of me, because of that ridiculousness...and the fact that I kept jumping around. The clowns made sure most of the rooms were being owned by one of us...a bunch in the KH...the Guv...The drink, and the Orange Room. By the end of the night I was still prancing. I felt broken inside (pun intended ;) Luv ya jenners), but had some left in me. I decided to call it a night at 7:30 to get some rest, and wake up in time for Thanksgiving dinner with the family...which turned out to be very bojangled :clown: I was disappointed that The Guv didn't do anything special for their anniversary...it felt just like any other all access event...very poorly planned imo, especially with the last minute set time declarations. I was expecting giant collages with pictures from every year...or something creative like that...ah well...

As far as sets go...where do I start?!

Miss Nine...not only was she adorable, but her mixing was sexy too. At first I thought, so what, she's cute, but she probably can't spin well...which is why she's the opener. I was wrong. I slapped myself silly. The Guv was less than 1/4 capacity at that time, but that just made me appreciate her set more. I rocked it out, grooving to the deep and progressive sounds of hers. Her set was sleazy too...reminded me of someone...Hey! I know! Sean Miller! The only difference was that she was better, oh yes! She didn't play any vocal stuff, which includes no diva . I was impressed, and I hope she wasn't disappointed with the size and vibe of the crowd at that time. I hope she comes back!

At 12:00 am Nic Fanciulli took over the decks. I was expecting a more commercial set from him, but was surprised to hear a more slower and progressive set from him. Compared to his set at Decadence, it was more professional and underground. I couldn't stop saying Yes to his set! Mixing was flawless, error free, and sturdy. Near the end, he really started to drop some bombs...including..

Gabriel Ananda - Dopplewhipper (3rd time I heard it this weekend!)

and the awesome symphonic progressive track...

Petter - Some Polyphony!!!

First time hearing it live...and it was a total mind! TUNE! Also...that bastard closed his set off with the tune that made me go nuts at C&C the night before...AGAIN?! No way... Yes!!

Sebastian Leger - Bad Clock

LMAO! Wow...these deejays must really like me..

At 2:00 am I went up into the drink and I caught the end of Fontaine's set...and not even 10 minutes after I had just heard it...he drops

Sebastian Leger - Bad Clock

ROFL! WTF?! Way too much of a coincidence! 3 TIMES this weekend! I had almost killed myself with my insanity hearing it twice in less than two minutes! Give my body a break! Hollllllllly. :wtf:

The drink was a bit crowded, and I couldn't find room enough for me for a while. It also smelled really putrid and the air was hot! So much B/O and farts! WTF? Who let er rip? Pffffffft! First time hearing John Acquaviva, and it was excellent. Tech House! Lots and lots of tech house! Rarely any cheesy tunes...and lots of Cribby tunes. Mixing was so-so...some tracks would have sounded better if they were blended with other tunes...but for the most part the set was awesome. He played sooooooo many of my favourite songs. This night was dedicated to me yo! fo shizzle. Let's name em....

Audio Jack - Robot
Microfunk And Dave Ellesmere - Pecan
Angello & Ingrosso - Click

and my favourite summer tune..

Bodyrox - Yeah Yeah (D Ramirez Remix)!!!

Yee Yee! I never get tired of hearing it! But the tune of the night, and also, the best tune from his set, just so happened to be a song I've always wanted to hear live...and it's also on Misstress B's Come With Me album...

Andrea Bertolini - My Wav!!!!

It was definately MY wav...lol...I told Graham the tune was by Andrea Bertoli...which sounds like an italian opera singer...haha. Rocked it out until about 4 am and then I finally headed to the KH.

Not sure if it was because I was tired...or because I was exposed to so much great house this weekend, but I could not get into the trance at all...even if it was tech trance. Second Sun? These guys were horrible....ing tools too! Couldn't wait for them to get off the stage. Sander Van Doorn was good, but nothing spectacular...But I opinion is pretty biased. The only trance I enjoy hearing live is the fluff, which he played none of. I knew he wouldn't, and I enjoyed a recent set of his, but I just couldn't feel it live. Heard a few mistakes he made, crowd didn't mind. Lots of tech and prog trance for those who enjoy it. There were a handful of tunes I really liked, and I tried to dance to most of them...trying to dance to trance after house...hardest thing to accomplish! Hands in the air-arm pumping..I couldn't do it...so I just moved to the beat...even though a stable one was rarely present. Overall it was good....Tunes I loved:

Angello & Ingrosso - Click
Oxia - Domino

^^ 2nd tune not really trance...I'd classify it more as prog house with a few trance elements...haha...I have to make things difficult eh? Also Preach's Broken Inside put a smile to my face. I wanted to kill Sander when he played Dance4Life...which is quite possibly one of the worst songs I have ever heard from Tiesto...thank god it was SVD's remix!

Glad I barely made it out...I didn't catch ANY Deep Dish...don't regret it either...was not in the mood for them. Plenty of TAs about! Awesome time partying with all of them...meeting a few new faces. Love my clowns! Too much partying this weekend...I'm still not fully rested. Even though it was a great event, no more guv parties for the rest of the year :)

Hope to see all of you soon again!

Yeah that track is too good.. not sure if it was the dub or not since I didn't hear it... but by your description its most likely the dub:

Cribby: Jackie, I think I see your ex...
Jax: Where?!? *scans the room*

Cribby points at some old sketched out asian dude...

Cribby [to the sketched out asian dude]: Hey, do you remember Jackie?

Dude looks confused...but nods yes and smiles...

Jax: uhhhhhhhh....[then continues dancing to Fanciulli]
