i kno you will probably find some way to argue about this but it will be to no avail i tell you. martin roth is a 'default' DJ, using all the default clips and samples on whatever keyboard or program he uses. i realize that a lot of other artists do it, but they do a much better job of hiding it or varying it a little bit. another artist i have a gripe with is Junkie XL. do you need a guitar in EVERY track?

don't u realize that the basis of EDM is using and reusing clips, samples, beats?? i think thats just pushin it, and who the hell cares as long as its good tracks or what not i dont pay attention to all the details

every1s entitled to their opinion of course :) but i think as far as your list goes, Above & Beyond and Gabriel & Dresden are twice as bad as Martin Roth as far as reusing sounds.... but youre entitled to your opinion, and i hope to see you there anyway!

Well I am excited!

yea, ill definetly be there. im very curious to see if he can make up for his 'arguable' ;) productions with superb mixing and track selection. as long as he doesn't play his own tracks all night, i think it'll be a fun night :haha:

Martin Roth is an insult to trance and by far one of the worst producers out there right now. I'm interested to see if he can spin though...

how so? Just because his production does not fit your flavor does make him the worst producer...I think his production is ok not the worst...however, i love a lot of his remixes (if you count that as production)...

d/l a bunch of Martin Roth tracks, listen to them back to back or do a ghetto mix and you'll see that he uses the EXACT same instruments in EVERY song he has produced... same clap, kick, synth bass, synths, etc...

maybe each song by itself is an ok/good production, but overall all his productions are like the old style Clipse/Neptunes/NERD productions... take the same instruments and randomize a new pattern.

just doesn't cut it for me

Each producer has his/her own type of tune and that specific tune identifies who he/she is.
