So now I feel completely helpless, anybody got an idea as to what am I exactly supposed to do? How can I start a case if the Pioneer themselves don't have it, it's one of their sub shops. :( |
Do you know what repair center has it? |

I heard that it's already torn apart and sitting on a bench to get worked on, supposedly. |

I learned that in America, sometimes the only way to get what you want is to simply put ing SNAP. |
word. go put some ing SNAP.:conf: :conf:
but srsly, go and get on their asses. Don't be really aggresive though, just make it very clear you want them to get it back asap. |

Yeah, I asked about the rights/terms & conditions etc.
>>I have problem X (gives important details), I have tried all the other letters of the alphabet to fix it, but to no avail - can anyone offer some suggestions?>>
Not >>I have a problem, anyone?>>
Then the rest of the thread is spent squeezing the necessary info from the threadstarter to try and make some sense of the situation.
This thread is absolutely pointless without previously asked for info. Period. |

Period. | dude don't bull, I said what the problem was, a sensor on my cdj broke and I took it to the shop where I bought it from, they said month to month and a half, it's been two and a half months, and they're supposedly still repairing it. What's your point to the response? |

I think you should go in and demand your unit back, 2 months is more than enough time to trouble shoot the problem and analyze if they are capable of making the repair. You should bring this case up with Pioneer, create a ticket or case number, note the store name and information and make sure pioneer is aware of this retailer, ask pioneer if the retailer returns your unit back in the way you gave it to them can you send it to pioneer directly for fixing or replacing it. Almost all high-end electronics that have a malfunction inside of the case that has not been tampered with and/or misused should be under warranty from the manufacturer if it is within reasonable time of purchase.
This goes to say that the retailer can not give you back your unit in pieces and if so, they should be liable for a full replacement. |

the unit is in some authorized "supposedly" service repair center that was supposed to belong to Pioneer, the shop doesn't want to give me the name of the store, it is NOT in an actual factory of Pioneer, they have only two locations, one in Cali another in Ohio.
They're supposedly waiting for parts, now supposedly got them, and it's sitting on a bench, waiting to get fixed by a technician.
For some reason I'm not believing this . |

I'd suggest you confront the retailer and explain to them that you have in your rights as a consumer to be protected by a POS and warranty to have your item returned immediately. You can get the same information from Pioneer who should support your cause and investigate this retailer (or even authorized resellers) as this practice is a bad taste to the Pioneer branding.
As a consumer, you should practice 'buyer beware', you should not have left your equipment with any retailer. Any issues should be addressed directly with the manufacturer, unless you are seeking a refund or exchange with the retailer thus the retailer is covered by the manufacturer for these types of transactions (return/exchange).
This is the main reason why 'tech repair shops' are no longer a prominent business venture because manufacturers noticed the blurred lines between retailers, their products, and servicing.
I wish you the best of luck, but to be honest, you should of contacted Pioneer to begin with. |
