So I've been dating this girl. For a year now.
We're both doing med, and we got pretty serious. She was great in the beginning, a lot of fun. Then we got engaged, and she started pissing me off. Phoning me all the time. Getting angry at me when i told her i was busy, or i was with friends. If she was stuck at her dorm doing nothing or studying and i went out with my friends, when i came back she'd be pissed off at me. If i went out drinking with the boy's she'd get pissed off. I'd be sitting watching a movie and she'd phone me. I'd pause the movie and my friends would have to wait while I talked to her for five minutes, then tell her I'd talk to her later. 10 mins later she'll phone again or text me saying I don't care about her. She's known about my past and is always acusing me of cheating on her or saying that I will eventually. She asks me to respect her parents while blatantly disrespecting mine. She takes no notice of things I do for her, then rubs things she does for me in my face and says I do nothing for her. And most of the time, she thinks buying me something means doing something for me. She gets in fights at the drop of hat.
To be fair I am pretty ing irresponsible, and I don't have as much cash as her family does so I couldn't really buy her much. Plus I can be pretty cold at times.
It wasn't all bad, We still had the highs and she did let me do anything I wanted to her. But she was starting to get bossy and she was becoming a pain.
Needless to say I wanted to be rid of her. Here's the problem, She's a cancer survivor, any attempt to leave her resulted in emotional blackmail. + we were engaged.
Finally I did dump her, but it came at the time of her final exams. I didn't want to leave her at such a critical time for her, but I am very bad at hiding things.
This doesn't sound that bad.
But when I sum it, It goes:
I sexually exploited a former cancer patient and gave her false promises of marriage.
I know myself. I know I'm gonna end up with another girl in about 2 weeks... But she's gonna have to see that and she'll feel even worse than she prolly allready does...
so...
what the do I do?
And
what the have I done? |

wow
sounds like she loved you too much, causing her to become possesive and you just might not be good enough for her. |

I missed the sexually exploited part of the long story. Was there something that you forgot to include?
Why did you get engaged while still in college?
This isn't really a rare story, sorry to tell you. It sounds like your ex was really insecure and became increasingly frustrated with her inability to control your every action, therefore took it out on you. I'm sure there's another side to this story (there always is), but girls getting possessive is never good and when they do, I seriously want to slap the out of them.
About the buying thing, does she cook and/or clean, too? That's a routine guilt trip I've dealt with more than once. |

Got the first part of the sentence, but you lost me after "and."
Possessive girls like this have a problem. Secondly, if he wasn't good enough for her, why was she so possessive? |

My brother was in a similar situation. He went out with a chick, got engaged and then split up before getting married.
But he's gay now so all that he went through doesn't matter. :thepirate |
