| I'd say yes. Because you'll only find out what someone's really like until you live with them. And if you want to spend the rest of your life with her, you'll have to do it at some point, right? |

| too bad they don't make apts like those hotel rooms that have a connecting door between the two rooms. have your sex then go back to your respective rooms. could save a lot of relationships. to be on the safe side get a month to month lease. either that or have a replacement roomate waiting in the wings... |

How long have you guys been together? That plays a huge factor in whether or not you should move in together. Also, do you basically already live together? (like you only spend 1-2 nights apart)? What you can do, is not have her move in right away. Get your apartment, have her stay a lot... maybe even give her a key. Do a "trial" month or two before she actually moves allof her in. B/c living with someone is a whole new ballpark.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's fun as hell. :) My b/f and I have been together over 2 years now and we just moved in with each other about 6 or 7 months ago. We were bascially living together before that. I slept at his house about 6 nights out of every week, and I was left there alone all the time. (I had a key). Once we actually moved in together though, it was rough the first month cause you have to adjust to finding solo time and whatnot. And staying with each other a lot is one thing, when you live together you totally find out all the quirks haha. But once you talk, and adjust and find ways to still be your own individual self while living with someone, it's awesome. You totally have to dedicate yourself to communicating with each other, or else you'll drive each other nuts. We're both always happy now. :) |

If you think you might want to marry her someday, I think its important to see how it works when you live together. Im a strong supporter of living together before marriage. I think if people would just get over their religious convictions and the "stigma" associated with shacking with your significant other the divorce rate might drop a little.

That's exactly why we moved in together. I think it's bull to assume that if you love each other you can handle living together. We had to test-drive the marriage thing haha. |

| I did it at a young age, it's probably the most fun I ever had, til she got used to me and every feeling associated with attraction. It's hard to get used to being apart afterward. I do however believe trying it out is worth it. |
