Toronto: Love it or Hate it ( as a DRIVER) <for those who only look at the subject

Why (AS A DRIVER) I hate toronto....
-the roads are horrible
-the construction crews are a bunch of retards
-the traffic lights turn red despite the fact that you are the ONLY car on the road
-potholes the size of tour busses

apply this to any city in Canada, especially Ontario. London and Waterloo/Kitchener also have bad roads, idiotic construction workers, antiquated traffic light systems, etc.

But I agree, Toronto traffic is beyond retarded. City planners in the 1960s really lacked any vision for urban planning.

welcome to Canada, where the central govt is swimming in surpluses while the provinces are trying to stay in the black.

Oh and that the unions are worse than the mafia??

don't get me wrong i love toronto i grew up in big cities like Warsaw, madrid and stockholm ... but the more i visit toronto the less i wanna live there maybe it's cuz i hangout downtown and i have to say it's really ghetto ....like yeah there is the buisness district but once you leave it's run down streets and run down buildings.... maybe cuz i'm use to small town suberbia were everything is new ... but the way i see it i don't mind traveling for an hour to get to enjoy toronto..

oi cheeky! Downtown isn't ghetto!!! My condo is 1 year old and has a hot tub, pool, movie theatre, gym - all 10 blocks away from work, 5 blocks away from sonic, 8 blocks from cz, 1 block from 6 of my friends. Run down streets and buildings are a part of ANY big city - but so are beautiful old buildings, culture and FEELING! Something you don't get in Stepfordesque suburbia :)
