ditto
we need more promoters bringing in the smaller known dj's (i.e. dominic eulburg, joel mull, menno (yes - a trance dj)) - those are the ones that are more interesting IMO. |
more interesting, yes. Its just tough to bring some of those lesser known guys and pull a decent crowd here in NYC. |

It's sad they don't get more support here. You have to wonder if they can't pull a crowd from the 8+ million people in New York, where can they? (Stateside I mean.) |

Agreed. There is frequently fresh, new and exciting talent in town people just dont go out to hear them when they are here because theres usually a big DJ or artist in town the same night. A lot of promoters are trying, several of the djs mentioned in this thread have been here quite recently. Joel Mull, Eulberg.. Ive seen them both here in NY in the past few months.. |

dcctnycprincess was at Eulberg & Ada with barosoap and I (and sidml). I don't think she was in town for Joel Mull and we went to a different event :(. When it rains it pours in this city sometimes, which can be really annoying when there's nothing going on later. |

Some Montrealers are curious about what Angel Moraes is going to be doing down in NYC, this is why I believe there is going to be a fair number of people from Montreal checking out the opening night (including me).
If Angel Moraes is able to recreate Stereo from Montreal in NYC, which was inspired in the legendary "Paradise Garage", then you guys are for a treat.
The only difference will be I guess the opening hours, because Stereo in Montreal opens at 2am and close at noon, or sometimes at 6pm next day, or even later in case the DJ decide to continue to the party (read DJ David Morales).
Anyway, if you go to the opening night, see you in the dance floor.
