actually that's a very good point I failed to recall
this mentality of litigation has ONLY become to popular bc it pays off. ppl can sue, pass the buck and get well rewarded where they should never be able to.
the court that lets ppl sue (instead of dismissing the case) over retarded matters... and then to further side w/ the ppl suing over ridiculous reasons, is the reason our society is so 'sue-happy' ! :rolleyes: |

uh...I did mention the laws, lol.
you can't blame the courts...the courts are there to uphold the law. If the law allows for such liability suits to succeed, then the gov't needs to amend that law.
I still firstly blame people who take advantage of dumb laws for their own selfish gain...because dumb laws or not, if these greedy idiots would just suck it up, the schools wouldn't have to 'ban tag'. |

this is why kids now a days resort to guns.
they dont get to lash out their violent aggression out through proper physical fights/games.
also, by protecting kids like this they'll grow up not knowing how to defend themselves (both physically and mentally).
people need to stop babying their childern, goddammit.

Not only the states...canada is just as bad.....I deal with many school related insurance claims for liability....it is not unheard of parents suing the school board for their kid getting hurt while playing on a school team. Heck....there was a mother who tried to sue the school because another kid hit him with a tennis ball.....they were playing tennis at the time. |
