Heck....there was a mother who tried to sue the school because another kid hit him with a tennis ball.....they were playing tennis at the time.

wow thats insane...
you dont hear of that type of stuff in Europe for example...and i mean anywhere in europe!

i think its just the mentality of the people here...sue for every little thing..even that doesnt make sense.

if they put as much effort into education, then maybe US wouldnt be viewed as such a "dumb" society...and some will try to argue, but you all know that the education in the states is wwaaaayyy subpar!! why is it that when u go to university and are in any engineering, medical, physics, chemistry, or any other techinal field...that 90% of the students are from abroad?? and 90% of the proffesors as well??

in bulgaria i stayed at this nice hotel. I wasnt allowed to swim when the lifeguards were not on duty but my macedonian friends were.

The reason?

The hotel was a fraid that if i got hurt, id sue them because im canadian.

but the worst is how i was lumped in with the very same groupthink that i fight against. If i slip and fall at a pool the last thing im going to think of is suing the hotel.

Parents nowadays are all becoming pussies.

Our country is slowly transforming into one massive, sand-encrusted, blubbering vagina.

so the full contact foot hockey we useto play when i went to elementary school would be out of the question

Welcome to my world. I deal with this crap every day. Liability Insurance Claims is my bread and butter.

I would snap, lol.

I have no problem with negligence being punished...but people who look for a free ride or a payday when "chance" (or worse, their own stupidity) is truly to blame...I have zero tolerance for that .

I'm sure you have a much more businesslike (and legal) way of saying "awww, fuuuuuuck off!" to such people :D
