I've been watching most of the races with my BF this season and I think this is a great finish for F1.. coming down to the last race.
Looking forward to watching it on Sunday.
*I hope Alonso wins*

i'm glad to see schumi leaving. F1 will be interesting to watch knowing that he's not going to some how cheat or have a rediculous win and lapping the whole field.
he won't be forgotten but with that in mind he me not be liked like senna and prost.
i will watch the race and watch alonso take the champoinship.

probably many times.
btw, didn't they re-pave the track?
i love interlagos, so many awkward corners with good elevation changes.
was it last year where they had the $10,000,000 corner?

Are you referring to the f1 junkyard during the rainstorm?
That was 2003 I believe.

Villeneuve's credibility when it comes to sports is nearly 0, and this quote proves just that. No one is forgetting Schumacher anytime soon. Even taking the controversies surrounding him over DECADES of racing in F1, one thing remains constant - his accomplishments. Just because he played dirty a couple of times (what human being hasn't?) doesn't in any way tarnish the impeccable skill he has behind the wheel of an F1 car. For every controversy you bring up, I can bring up 5 examples of things Michael did that are borderline impossible.
The man is a living legend, his ability and talent is second to none.
Amen
No matter what people like to bash him about, you cant take away what he has done or his skill. He will always be remembered. I myself have thourally enjoyed being a Shumacher fan during his exciting carreer.

What's lame and boring is F1 nubs jumping on the Schumacher bandwagon just because he has so many wins.
As for Villeneuve, he is a world champion who got purposefully taken out by this same Schumacher on the last lap of the last race of the 97 season. Following which Schumacher got stripped of all of his points for the season!
I'll post up some other of his dirty tricks, which won't be too hard since he's had SO MANY! ugh

Go Alonso
I'll watch if I remember. Schumacher is a great driver, but I won't be crying after he's gone. From a strictly professional perspective, he was/is the most visible part of F1 racing. But I've heard that he's a little too openly cocky in person.

Same race, Jerez 97, Fontana racing for Sauber admitted that Jean Todt of Ferrari visited him prior to the race and ordered him to block Villeneuve because Ferrari was their engine supplier! Good riddance Schumacher, for you won't be missed! :D

Villeneuve was only the champion when he was sitting in the best car in F1. Ever since then, his performance as a driver has been dissapointing to say the least. He's not even close to the skills his father had.

Same can be argued for Schumacher then, he was only winning because they had the best package for so long and all other teams couldn't get anything reliable put together. Weak argument as they're both great drivers.
