I've never seen PVD perform live, but I wasn't impressed with Armin at all. On the night, when I saw Armin, Ferry Corsten was up next. He was impressive

I have seen Ferry a couple of times, the first was about five years ago and he was playing super cheesy trance. Then the next time I saw him he was playing electro type stuff, which I liked.

I have seen Armin a few times and he seems to be inconsistent. I don't see great flow in his sets, one minutes it's a great tough groover, next it's fluffy, then it's something else. It's like a big mash up without any real art in the programming.

that is exactly what I noticed.

I like Ferry because he always has a good track selection that gets the crowd involved and his mixing has been flawless every time I saw him (3 times)

Saw the two of them maybe a month apart and PvD was miles better than Armin
