And quite rightly so. It is after all, a highly moronic opinion to have.

o.k. thanks, if i start djin trance i'm going to use vinyl because imo you aren't a proper dj unless you use vinyl. I will probably get some stick for this statement but thats just my opinion. lol

Dude, play on whatever works out the best for you. If you don't want to spend a lot of money on music then go with the cd route. If you want to go back to basics and start from the ground up then go vinyl. If you are rich, do it all!

I think Armin played about 10 CDR's in his last set and the rest was all vinyl. So when you come to record your first set, you must also use exactly 10 CDR's, and no more.

i understand where your coming from it still seems abit weird to think that some people are djs and cant use vinyl it will get abit of getting used to. I personaly think you should be able to use both buy some vinyl decks that you want and add some cd decks later on thats what im doing.

Don't think he's digging a hole anywhere.. the real question is who really cares how he wants to play his music.. entering TA is not like entering a frat or something, its the freaking intranet ;)

I can see where the guy is coming from, i still use vinyl but soon i will switch. I used to call those who used cd's, cd pushers and not a real dj and all that. With the technology today though thats all changed.
