Ooops I didn't spot this before my first reply!

You think vinyl is the highest sound quality available?

Why then in the early 80's were CD's such a success and a technological improvement? It wasn't to do with size...........

Vinyl became the DJ's tool of choice because the pitch was easily manipulated allowing the pioneers to develop beat matching.

Now with modern technology pitch manipulation can be achieved across a range of digital media.

Do some research, get your set up right. Good luck.

Not only that, it is laughable :haha:

Only thing Vinyl boasts that cd dosnt is that it has a warm tone to it.

The only thing good about Vinyls is that when you mixing it you feel like you're taking up part of craft that's been omipresent since the 1960s. Other than that, well you're just mixing vinyl. Vinyl is expensive and difficult to transport, but what ever.

1. What does 'CD' stand for again?
2. You have obviously never used a CD deck.

But im incorporating cds into my mixes, cos ive got some cdjs, but i will be using both formats. So im not going to be ditching the vinyl cos i love to mix with it. :)

Hair gel will make you a better dj... and teeth whiteners. Don't forget the Tiesto sneakers.. coz without them you'd be a barfoot faker... and we know thats just not on...

Also skills like getting blown while mixing are invaluable, if you want to be counted amongst the best in the world...

I don't think that while I'm mixing at all.
