Tonight's gig emanated from the club formerly known as Metropolis. Despite having a new name, a few remnants of the old namesake remain. Still, we were given 2 DJs for our listening pleasure tonight; Groove Eric and Suzy Solar.
Groove Eric, who I rarely see do opening sets, did a more progressive set, with a few trancers, albeit not many. Songs included:
Nothing but the girl - Missing You (???? remix)
Livin' Joy - Dreamer (???? remix)
Kyau vs. Albert - Are You Fine (Markus Schulz remix?)
Rank 1 vs. Alex M.O.R.P.H - Life Less Ordinary

Bob Marley - Sun Is Shining (Maor Levi Remix) <- Above and Beyond played this song in their set at Trance Energy 2006!

After Eric came Suzy. She began with an extremely powerful trancey set. I barely recognized most of the tracks she played. The only ones I could ID for sure were:

Suzy Solar vs. Thomas Bronzwaer - Samurai :D :D :D
Tonight, there was BARELY a crowd in Area 51, but we all still had a great time. We brought our own vibe as we always do. It was great seing the usual peeps, plus Jordy (Ouwe Dwaas) from Holland. And it was very nice meeting Never Say Die! OMFGHI2U!

One gripe: that TRAIN HORN. That thing nearly left half of us DEAF! Seriously, that thing is louder than the one in Space!
The bathrooms still need work. :o

Work till late all day yesterday.. couldnt even drive back home so yeah, Glad that you guys had the great vibe going to great sets.
And I must say.. I DONT KNOW WHY they call it Area 51, if Im seen flyers around my campus been passed around for some Hip Hop party with the METROPOLIS thing on it for the 22nd. |

pretty low is an understatement. I don't think they promoted this at all outside of this forum. except for a few people u can count with one hand. everyone there was from TA. It felt like we rented out the club for ourselves. still tho, great sets from eric and suzy. til the next one :D
