There is no real skill,
In splitting up the lines of,
A normal sentence.
This sort of thing is,
Not poetry in any,
culture or custom.
This kind of defeats the purpose of haiku. You have simply split a normal sentence up into the 5,7,5 format. In essence it says nothing more than what it explicitly states, and doesn't really evoke any imagery or provoke thought. Japanese culture has a tradition of expressing a great deal in minimal form, in art and architecture. In haiku the conceptual relationship between the lines is what inspires thought and creates the effect of a large amount of substance in minimal form.
