the best acid story goes to Richard Taylor. He thought he was blind because he turned the lights off by accident.

I've never had paranoia from e. For me, it generates nothing but warm and fuzzy feelings. :)

Weed is another story. I get so paranoid that I don't even like being out in public. Crowds, and especially strangers, give me the heebie-jeebies. I feel like everyone is staring at me and judging me.

Speed (meth) can lead to paranoia but I think you have to take a lot of it over an extended period. Apparently it can be BAD… like you see enemies everywhere. And it can lead to violent reactions.

Acid can trigger anxiety (which is different than paranoia).

Candy flipping I've never done and probably won't (but it sounds like fun).

I don't post often here so it's kinda weird to share this story lol
There have been more times that I have been paranoid on E than not paranoid. I have had problems with anxiety in the past so I guess the E didn't help...
I was at System Soundbar with my bf at the time 2 years ago and at one point he decided to go to the bathroom and leave me on the dancefloor by myself. I didn't mind cause I was having a good time dancing and enjoying Roger Sanchez. Then I looked around me and saw about a group of 4 or 5 guys in front of me looking back at me and sort of whispering to each other, giving me the eye. The screwed up thing was that now when I think about it I don't know if I imagined it or if this all actually happened.
Anyway one of the guys was pretty creepy and within minutes I became paranoid and thought "Oh my God they saw my bf go to the bathroom, they know I am on E, and they are gonna try to advantage of me or beat my boyfriend up when he comes back". My heart was beating and I couldn't enjoy the music at all..I had this awful empty feeling in stomach and it kept sinking deeper and deeper. He was only gone to the bathroom for about 10 mins but it felt like he was gone for an hour and I was on the dancefloor, just me and these 4 or 5 creepy guys. Roger Sanchez and the other people disappeared lol
Bf came back from the bathroom and I told him I was panicking and that we must leave. He also noticed they were giving us the eye so we decided within 5 minutes to get the hell out there.
I don't know if it was paranoia or intuition but I felt like if I didn't get the out of that place something was going to happen to me, my bf or the both of us.
Wow I'm embarrased now

OK...since we've determined in this thread and the whole TA forum there are several members that partake in the use of illicit drugs. I'll suggest "candy flipping", yup E + LSD = MIND. The ride of your life... :D

I know there are a load of you perfect individuals who don't use all, so please don't jump on me bitches. en saints!!!:whip:

I'm too old now for acid. I had a summer when I was 21 where I did acid every weekend and lots of it. By the time the summer ended I was a different person. For me acid leads to all kinds of weird revelations and changes in world view and I feel I'm just too old now to go through that again. I'm happy with my world view as it is.

But candy flipping does sound fun, just not for me.

It's ironic, but some of my friends used to laugh at me when I first developed paranoia back in 2003. A lot of them in fact, started developing their own cases of paranoia at a later. A very good friend of mine developed it 2 years later in 2005 because of his continued drug use. His problems are 10X worse then mine and is in a psychiatric ward right now...

People everything in moderation!;)

edit: Here's actually one of my crazy theories on why I started developing these cases of paranoia. In the rave era up until 1999 or so there was still this amazing utopian thing called PLUR. Once we hit the 21st century it diasppeared when our scene moved to the clubs. , the clubs changed absolutely everything...

PLUR never existed again and every one stopped loving each other at all the events I went to. You can't compare today's scene with yesterday's PLUR.

Only GINOs and plastic barbie dolls these days at the clubs. No joke!!! :whip:

I've never heard of paranoia like this from e. How much were you and your friends doing and over how long a period?
