I've spoken to Sean, and he is definitely excited to come. Very cool guy, and has a musical talent like no other.. I havent encountered someone like him personally in a long time myself. I am both honored and excited to be opening for him. A big thank you to TAJ and 1015 for allowing me to open up for a rising star like Sean!

I have witnessed some of the Worlds Best Djs play his tracks in their sets. Both Armin and Tiesto love him, and Ferry had good stuff to say about him as well.

Hes all over Youtube, and I think I0 seen him on ifilm too... So much to say about this man, you gotta see/hear it for yourself. Lets all welcome him to S.F!!!

DJ / Producer Biography

“Mark my words…. Tyas will be f**ing huge!!” John Askew - Discover label A&R (Dec 05)

Prophetic words indeed. As 2006 progresses, the name Sean Tyas is a buzz word in trance circles. And with good reason too. He's one of the most talked about DJ / producers of the moment, not just from trance fans on message boards and budding DJs in record stores, but also in the highest echelons of the trance elite, with Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, Sander van Doorn and Above & Beyond all giving his productions massive playlist support.
"The man of the moment." - John 00 Fleming (I-DJ Magazine)
"#1 in my chart!" - Ferry Corsten

A New York native now residing in Switzerland, Sean Tyas' productions bring to the dancefloor a mix of melodic harmony and driving groove that have captured the imagination of the trance community. Support for the Tyas sound is gathering at a frightening pace with his name appearing like a rash over the playlists of every major trance DJ on the planet throughout 2006.

Far from being an overnight success story, Sean notched up several high profile remixes between 2002 and 2005 such as Moby 'In This World / In My Heart' on Arista, PPK 'Resurrection' on Tommy Boy and Christina Milian 'Dip It Low' on Island / Def Jam. He then took time out to perfect his own sound, and it has certainly paid dividends.

Sean was recently signed up by John Askew's Discover label, an imprint widely recognised as having its finger firmly on the pulse of all things good in cutting edge trance. His debut on the label in March was a remix of Aled Mann 'Cold Fusion' that was hammered by DJs such as Eddie Halliwell and ATB and signed onto the Trance Republic 2 compilation CD. His first solo release for the label 'Lift' looks set to be one of THE summer trance anthems when released in July, awarded Single Of The Week on Armin van Buuren's A State Of Trance show and gaining heavy playlist support from Paul van Dyk and a host of A list names, as well as featuring on the Cream Ibiza CD mixed by Eddie Halliwell.

Needless to say that demand for Sean Tyas DJ sets has soared on the back of his production success, with recent guest dates in Stuttgart, Milan, Philadelphia and Doncaster (UK), with the prestigious Gallery at Turnmills in London due up soon as well. As the big tunes roll out, so the dates roll in… And speaking of big tunes, Sean has been busy putting the finishing touches to a host of new singles and remixes that have resulted in record labels getting harassed by desperate DJs wanting to get their hands on the latest slab of Tyas trance before the rest. Current / forthcoming releases include Sean Tyas 'Remember', Sean Tyas 'Mirella' on Afterglow, Isigma 'Open Your Eyes' (Sean Tyas remix) on ATCR, Beam 'On Your Mind' (Sean Tyas remix) on Beam Traxx, Dunderstadt 'Muhanjala' (Sean Tyas remix) on Afterglow, Bubblefish 'Stars Of Ibiza' on Sirup and Sander van Doorn 'Punk'd' on Oxygen / Spinnin'. It's safe to say Sean's star will continue to rise as we move towards 2007!

What better place to bring such talent than 1015? Come experience this night with Taj, Sean and yours truly. I can't wait for this, I'll have a few suprises in store for you all too!

Dont stay home and sleep from the triptaphan in that turkey.. Come out and party!!!!! :D
