im torn between having a choc lab or another english springer for my next dog. can't make my mind up. the lab would need less grooming & be a bit less energetic than a springer, but we've had 9 springers in the family since i was born (inc aunties, grandparents etc) that I'm so used to them as a breed & love all their little quirks
