Ferry Corsten & Seasunz @ Space 10-27-06 Review + Pics (pg. 3)

You hit the nail on the head. I thought he started out way too slow. Not bad tracks, just too slow even compared with the last tracks that Seasunz played at the mandatory opening set low pitch.
But then after about 3 or 4 songs of Ferry's set he turned the corner, threw down some nice trance burners, went techy on us, threw in a couple of electro tracks, and a perfect mix of classics and his own productions. Also LEF on that system was incredible (which was tweaked right for once), and Adalgio for Strings was mint :eyespop: |

What an unbelievable night.
Ferry rocked the place from the 1st second until the last.
I didn't like Seasunz at all.
If that's a dj, I can be a dj too.
Bad transitions and also his track choice.
Wasn't for me the best warmup for Ferry.
But back to Ferry.
It was so great to hear how he was building up his set.
And ofcourse the great classics between the new stuff.
New stuff for me, because I didn't recognize a lot of tracks.
And the track Richie is talking about, forgot the name, remixed by Sander van Doorn was :eyespop:
It was so great seeing Felipe and his cute girlfriend.
forgot the name amigo.
You have a lovely girlfriend amigo.
And it was great seeing DA, Matt, Carlos, Leon, Richie, Rachael again, before I leave back tomorrow to Holland :(

holy wow for my first ferry show -- loved the bangin' dirty electro towards the end of the set. could've done without the 330am twilight zone when EVERYONE surrounding me started making out a la 7th grade. the purple/green jetson girls with the cutouts -- genius.

| I as well had a blast Friday night! Had three people with me who had never been to a Ferry show---that was like my 10th or something...and once again....he did not disappoint. That's one thing i like about Corsten, is that you know what you're going to get. I've never had a bad time! Yesterday the energy was great, track selection very diverse which i liked. I'm a sucker for the Kyrogenics, so man when those things went off---just the best. I rate CORSTEN way above Armin...which is not always the way i felt, but to me he's more consistent. Yes, Adagio for Strings---GREAT CHOICE!! |
