Intergroove UK Shutdown! - End of vinyl coming? (pg. 3)

Ouch. Baroque is my fav label. I know all of those labels too.. Damn.

those are both based in germany. intergroove uk closing has almost no impact on them. you can still buy their records just as easily online on juno as before for example.

intergroove distributes to juno, from what i understand

this really really blows ass because even though i haven't bought records in a while due to brokeitude...sites like beatport just don't have the songs for download that i want. it's gonna really blow if i can't get ahold of some of the more obscure stuff i love now...:(

i wouldn't worry about that too much, seeing intergroove wasn't really an outlet for the obscure.

Some of those labels were sub distributed by Intergroove UK. Cocoon, Get Physical, Out Of Orbit and Plastic City are still primarily distributed by Intergroove Germany (which is a totally seperate company to the UK one). Four Twenty Recordings switched distribution to Neuton a few weeks ago, and all labels that form part of the Critical Rhythm label group such as Baroque, SOG, and Boz Boz will be continuing also.
