Indeed.
Though in all seriousness, I will say that I don't believe this idea is necessarily the "best" way to clean up c0r, but realistically the c0r is it's own society with it's own set of norms and values that when violated, must be reinforced with punishment.
In the real world, murderers are put in prision and removed from society. Just think of the people I'm referring to as the "murderers" of c0r.

Nah, mods just gotta make decisions and stick to them. This is a probably the biggest step in affecting change here.
As long as the moderators stick to their guns, it won't be a problem. I know c0r has always been a place where we had this laid back approach to everything, but there comes a point when the mods have to realize that even though they may be making an unpopular decision, it's for the best that they stick to it.
Like it or not, moderators a must hold themselves to a higher standard than the rest of us - Which is for the most part what happens on here. Unfortunately, every once in a while when a mod wants to take part in some c0r shenanigans (i.e. the name change situation from last week) it only encourages the kind of idiocy that was seen over the weekend on here.

| I'd like to be excluded from any and all jury duty, on grounds that I am a veteran of foreign wars. Most notably the campaign against Marak5 in the Chicago forum, and clowning of Elevation in Miami WMC section. |
