I believe you are correct, however, we are not a civilized society. I'd say the c0r is more of a pack type social organization with many challengers to the authority of those seated closer to the top of said pack. Generally, those challenges are dealt with swiftly with sharp tounge and a swift cuff to the back of the head via witty retorts. Often the challenger is quickly religated to their place as all the others see them for the fool they are. It is through this mechanism that order is maintained. The only thing lacking is the ability to kill those that fail to learn their lesson and accept their place once their challenge is rebuffed... I suppose this is where the permanent ban would come into play. |

Exactly.
And I don't think permanent bans should be a matter of public debate, they should be put in place and enforced by the moderators with absolutely no input from the peanut gallery.
Quite frankly, Coup, Jason, and Myra all know exactly what is and is not tolerable for c0r, they're all smart and fair enough to keep things from getting out of hand if we did try something along these lines. |

Quite frankly, I only have confidence in one of those three. Not that I don't appreciate their efforts, however, only one has consistantly shown good judgment IMO. |
