i dont think people realize that "perog" is a pie not a "pelmen" (more than one is "pelmeni")

Yah, pelmeni are boiled, not baked or fried.

The most famous brand in Moscow these days is called Sam Samich - Pelmeshki Bez Speshki

mmmmmmmmmm

this is the one type of food that i always have in my freezer and i mean always. if you show up at my house and i don't have them, i will literally buy you a pelmeni factory!!!

maybe i should have a pelmeni & vodka night just like i sometimes throw mussels & martini evenings by the poolside during the summer!

Depends on my mood. Either with butter and sourcream, OR sometimes with white viniger.

If they are fried, then always with sourcream.

MMmmMM I havn't had them in so long.

My dad eats them with vinegar. Never tried it, but I don't think I'll like it as I don't like the taste of vinegar.
