Trust me, it's really not that bad. I've driven back from Toronto after some crazy party weekends! You can do it!!

Windsor is nothing compared to Toronto...but it's always great to try new things. Remo has been doing great things with the Boom Boom Room. I think you'll be impressed, especially for a city that has few real EDM enthusiasts.

What would I compare it to? Hmmm...Lot 332 I'd say. Not quite as swanky, but it definatly attracks a nicer looking crowd. I don't mean nicer as in good looking people...but nicer as in they don't really want you wearing the same clothes you just wore to the gym (though I don't believe there's a strict dress code - if there's one at all).

Whoa!!! It's Dec. 11th already!!! Guess I better figure out if I'm going to this and grab a ticket soon!!!:(

I know you have probably done this a few times Lis, but would you please be so kind as to describe the BBR in terms of the venue environment? For instance: are there lasers? Is the club rather dark or lit-up? How is the sound (does it pound or is it kinda quiet?) I think, overall, I am just interested in whether it is visually and aurally pleasing.

Thank you!!!

A risk worth taking. Remo usually offers good deals on hotel rooms. I dunno if that's the same for NYE, but if so...you'd probably have to book early! There's a number of cheap places to stay in that area b/c of all the American's that come over. Booo
You could always come a day early just to be safe!

And Nick...the venue is nice...There's an upstairs - a completely different room...and a balcony over the main room. There's leather couches and fake fireplaces - a seperate seating area (but where you can still hear the music). 3 bars. Size wise its about the same as Lot 332 or the Orange Room plus Tanja. Lasers and screens...yes. Sound...it's decent. I don't have an ear for awesome sound quality. Bring your ear plugs - but I wear those everywhere.

i dono about hotel....

i would drive there during the day, walk around explore, then eat somewhere dinner, drink and go to the club. Then when ever its done, eat breakfast... drink redbulls and drive back lol

That's up to you...I was just suggesting if you're worried about a snow storm.

it's too bad that via rail isn't cheap.

I could travel Newcastle to Sydney and back (approx 400km) for 17 bucks. Damn wouldn't that be awesome here in Canada?

Then you wouldn't have to worry about the snow at all.
