HUH!! Strange/Bad Ending!!

okay, last night i saw the brotherhood of the wolf (great movie, a must see!!) but only the ending was quite strange/hard to follow!
also i still don't get the ending of the "new" planet of the apes, anyone got some idea's? :conf: :)
anyone else seen some strange movie endings?? |

both had great not to be expected endings :) Fightclub has a more shocking ending though :p

i hope you were kidding because i wanted to see that movie!!
that's just stupid when you know the ending of a movie where the ending is the most impostant part (the game, the 6the sense)
i girl i know just screamed out loud that she had seen the 6the sense the night before.. and started telling me about the incredible ending!! i could have almost strangled her!! AAARRRRGGG:whip: |

| i thought lord of the rings blew.. I know it is a three part thing.. but it wasnt even conclusive at all.. starwars is a trilogy and the end of those movies were good |

well i think you didn't read the books, right? :D
well there simply can't any conclusitivity because that isn't the way the story goes... the objective of the movie is to destroy the ring but you can't do that when you on 1/3 of your total story.. lotr if a totally different situation as star wars.. all star wars episodes (except 5,6) have a closing ending because they are all different stories, this isn't with lotr.. :)
still i can understand why you hate the ending..!! |

Ya'h Memento is a MUST SEE! Incredible movie. It is one of those movies U see, and then U think abt it all night long.. and the best part is that everybody understands the story diffrently.. Ive seen loooong threads abt this movie, and they have gun like nowhere :)

yeah the new planet of the apes had wiiiiierd ending.. I couldnt figure that out..
Ocean's eleven.. mmm yeah I remember.. I think they left a cliffhanger init so they could make Oceans eleven 2 :)
Fightclub's end was something spectacular :D really realy cool ending.. It was something similar to the prodigy video Smack my Bitch up(you know in the end where U see that the person was a woman..) it was shocking too :)
LOTR ending, though, was totally known to me :) even before I'd seen the film, since I've read the books a zillion times :) |

The best Ending in any movie was Carlitos Way....Only movie were the main char doesnt win at all....=( he was soo close too....what an amazing movie

the reason star wars (the first one made, or the third one in the 6-part series) had a conclusive ending was because Lucas didn't know if they would make a sequal, so he sort of wrapped it up, but left it open at the same time. Notice how the second one didn't end (i.e. han solo captured, luke lost his hand and found out his father is vader), and of course the last one ends its the last part of the series
and as said before, LOTR couldn't have an "ending" because its really one big movie cut into three parts.
some of the best best movie endings have already been said, but i'd add Scarface (come on, the man basically takes out an army, just too cool, though pathetically impossible) and my fav ending of all time The Shawshank Redemption. That was just sooo ing cool!!! You thought that he just killed himself (or might have) and the warden poking his finger throught he poster...just incredible. |

disliked the ending to ocean's 11...
it was too thomas crownish..the "Bad" guy is actually the "good" guy that the audience sympathizes with and gets away with it..i dont know just disliked it...
i like the ending to a life less ordinary |

naaaah, dunno, but memento wasn't as good as i thought it would be. i mean the ending was shocking, but i didn't like the overall presentation of the movie.
6th sense, although i knew the ending, struck me more. shawshank redemption was ing awesome, one of the greatest movies ever!
i'd say three kings was pretty interesting, nothing you would ever expect... |
