martin i'm not all the way through it yet but wow...seems different a bit from your usual and i like.I will definately give a more in depth review when i listen to it a few more times.You aren't going Frankie wilde on us man everything seems spot on.Possible cue file if time permits?Perfect set for listening on the long trips i make often |

Yea, im very very very very very VERYYYYYYYYYYYYY friggin impressed! Very similar to the genre of music i truely love, very dark with crazy elements. I can't imagine what a great crowd reaction you would get if u played this at Aria wow!
The set is definitly rolling from start to finish, and i dont think i got anything bad to say about it.
Its the type of sound that makes me wanna yell!

WOW, i'm lovin this ...
dark, electro, and if you take a look at it from the music dimension it is clearly balanced and very sophisticated. i.e. the build ups and how the harmonics were set were mindblowing.

Well, of course everybody knows that lawler and Lights Out 1 has been a definite influence on me. To this day, I am still in love and amazed of the flow and brillance of how Lights Out 1 CD 2 is done. I still remember that day, when everything was suddenly very clear to me. Something lighted up inside. The CD was finishing with that Everybody Else track, and I realized that it's not about the tracks, but the story you want to tell, and what you do with them.
I don't feel this set is similar to Lawler, definitly not the tracks Lawler is playing right now. But I guess we share a certain common idea about a sound.
I don't think I would like to open for him, I think I am too impressed, and that would put me in an extremely vulnerable position to play before him. He is the only DJ that has that effect on me. |
