Its pretty lame of them not to be advertising the crap out of this though... Viral marketing/word-of-mouth has its place, but now's probably not it. Besides, if they really are bringing in someone good for the last hurrah, there's no reason to try keeping the party small.
So, if not Tiesto (yeah yeah, so its wishful thinking), any other predictions? Or is the surprise going to be that no one's heard of them? :stongue:

I went to Aria last night (Dec 2) and I think the sooner they put that club out of its misery the better. I cannot beleive the only place where it was advertised was on this forum. Alex is definately right, I also seen this club destroy itself over the last 2 years. I actually looks like they did it on purpose. First by not maintaining thier website. Getting rid of hard techno fridays with preach was another stupid move. Having rude and unprofessional staff and security doesn't help either. I guess the owner made enough money that he just doesn't care.
Oh well it is really too bad, I really loved Aria but I guess good things usually come to end. It's just when stupidity is the main reason for its demise it makes you that much more angry. |

Dude are you sure you actually ever went to Aria? I remember you choking every single party except both Ferry nights, in fact on one of the Ferry nights you left before Ferry came on... Oh and there was also Danny Howells, I remember you going to THAT night also. |

Do you seriously think Jean Fred made too much money and thats the reason why aria is closing? wtf?
Secondly, the techno friday night stoped because Preach moved to Czech Republic to pursue his career.
The Afterhour scene shifted, more afterhours opened up, people grow up and less wanna stay out and party extended hours into the night.
As for the staff, i had no problems with them, but thats maybe because i wasn't on 10 es and 10 speeds and was actually able to communicate with them. |
