I dunno man - I'm just not a "club" kid. They're fun and all once in a while, but unless I'm behind the decks, for the most part I prefer my spots chill and conducive to conversation. :) |

Ahh yeah I know what you're saying... I suppose I'm the kinda person who dances most of the night- I love going out and just dancing! In fact, I'm really starting to like this afterhours concept because I can do what I did on friday night for Desyn Masiello- Wake up at 4 in the morning, put on some clothes, go to the club, and dance til 9/10! It's 10X better than a morning jog :p.
Clubs are my church and gym! :p |

| Hey RJT, did you have the chance to check out any of the lounges in Manhattan when you were in NYC. I always preferred the lounges over the annoying club scenes. Clubs and Bars are filled with too many wannabees and dumb s ready to start a fight even if you accidentally step on their shoes or bump into them. |

I became addicted to the lounge/coffeeshop EDM scene when I was in the Netherlands. So nice being able to go into a coffeeshop/bar with loads of comfy seats, sit down, smoke up, listen to some great house/trance/techno/dub/reggae/etc. being spun live and still be able to talk with your friends and meet all kinds of interesting new people.
That's my scene right there. ;) |

regardless i like them, but i have no option.
central pa = no clubs besides the top 40 clubs, no lounges whatsoever
central pa = many bars, few coffee shops

Coffee Shops are cool to chill out in, but I hate Starbucks and you wouldn't find me in there. I prefer bars to coffee shops. I Prefer bars to clubs with the exception of The Arches and SubClub.
Simply.
The Arches > SubClub > A Good Bar or Pub > Coffee House > A Bad Bar Or Pub > Starbucks. |

| I like coffee houses, but not for Friday night. And as far as starbucks go, i would rather walk 20mins in the rain, back to my house, and make myself coffee than buy starbucks, its the most horrible coffee in the world. |

I feel the need to clarify that I'm not referring to Starbucks when I say I prefer coffeehouses.
Local shops ftw. :) |
