Who uses it ? do you have it in your car ? I use it a lot, since i drive on the highway almost everyday, and i don't like changing my speeds up and down.

[nerd=on]
and no i am not talking about the cruise control for continuous build processing.

Hardly ever used it until I recently got a $310 ticket.......

Now that cruise control is always on.

One thing I can't stand about it is when going up hills on the interstate; by the time you get to the top and start decending, your car is still accelerating, going way past what you originally set your cruise at......I don't think the cop will take the time to listen to that explanation. :mad:
Marc Summers
I use it wherever the speed limit is 25+, because my cruise control doesn't work below 25 mph :p

because cruise control is based on the acceleration, not the velocity, when you set the speed. therefore when you go up and down the hills, your velocity will change, but your acceleration will stay the same, due to friction of the road, degree slope of the road, etc ... i would go furthur , but i am no physcist (i took physics about 9 years ago. that is so long ago . :) ).

i always use it on long trips. , if there's a stretch of open road and i'm doing 50 or higher i'll use it. i'm a very lazy driver. haha

unfortunately, no. :( . one time, i got busted with going downhill and i wasn't paying attention to my speed.

I love using my cruise control. My commute to work is about 40-45 miles, so cruise control is a life saver.
