| I see it as an unnessesary risk. If I knew they wouldn't bite then sure. If they might bite then I have to ask why the hell would I swim with them? |

With any animal you can NEVER be 100% sure.
Though swimming with sharks, it's done for the experience.
Nothing quite like being face to face with a 16ft Great White. |

which is pretty much why I wouldn't do it.
Other harmless (ie non man eating)sharks, sure. If they can eat me then I think not. I call making choices like these simple darwinism. If it can eat you, you should avoid it. |

Chadly84...good friend of mine (Nikitha's bf)...doesn't post much...but he'd be all over this ! He loves sharks. He's planning on going to Australia to swim with the sharks. Some boat excursion thing he wants to do....will cost him a good couple grand.
Me on the other hand...no thanks. |

Clarification to this thread: she means swim with them as in "I'm in a protective steel cage and the sharks are swimming outside the cage"
And with this recent development, I must say, hell yeah I'd do it. |
