Nope. You're wrong :p

Voting is a privilege, always has been. And there aren't enough people shouting that slogan in the world that will get me to believe it. I want you to cite me something that says "citizens have the right to vote". All you're doing is citing things that state the stipulations if the right has been given. Key words being "if" and "given".

ok i will say you win, because i really don't care. it's a prilivege (even though is a fundamental right)

I shall accept this. Now allow me to release my net of balloons I had prepared just for this occasion.

A minor caveat/side note to this: due to the lack of broadness in the stipulations, the government could technically deny geriatrics, retards, the destitute, along with a plethora of other sects the right to vote as they are not listed amongst the stipulations. I think they only recently added sexual preference to the list but I could be wrong. The government would never do that *yet*, it's just odd to think that they could if they so chose.

So 2004. :wtf:

why not vote? you people around the world take voting for granted. catholics could not vote over here for years and through a struggle we finally got the right to vote. so wasting it is just pointless.

Oh I voted, in fact I just got back from hitting the button next to every Libertarian candidate I could. I just don't appreciate these get out the vote ad campaigns that tell people fallacies such as "it's their right to vote".
