I was standing my mixer up while I was plugging all the cables into it...and I turned to pick something up and just then my mixer decided to bungee jump off my table. 3 feet high! Just before hitting the ground, the power cord tightened saving the mixer from the collision with the floor. 4 inches of cord was yanked out from the back panel of the mixer...and the plastic that kept the cord in place was yanked out as well and in pieces. Knobs flew everywhere. I gathered a channel 3 gain knob, a channel 1 bass knob, and a channel 4 mid knob. I was completely devasted. I plugged the power cord back into the outlet and turned on the mixer...
No lights came on. It's over.
600, it was a good run for the nearly 2 years we rocked parties all over town. You were there for me through all the hard times. You were there for me when I changed from a trance dj to a house dj. You have been used by dj's such as DJ Rap, M3, DJ Dan, Dave Aude, Max Cheddar, Bas & Clovis, and almost all local dj's in Santa Barbara. You were there for my transition from vinyl to digital. Its going to be hard to say goodbye.
I cant do this anymore. I have to go...:nervous: :( :sadgreen:

Hehe I was joking, it would be funny trying to convince them that their mixer is faulty and had randomly exploded.
Infact... tell them it imploded then exploded  |

Yeah dude, the faders on the 800 are naiiice, but I think the faders on the Xone 62 are naiiiicer ;)
If I ever decided to upgrade to a 92 though, it'd be all about the rotary. The faders on Xone 92's feel like childrens play toys.
Sorry to hear about your DJM m8 - But hey, times for new equipment is always fun!:) |

Here's a fun noob comment.. :D
Reading on the internet, you often will think something is pronounced the way you say it. Little do you know it's pronounced differently.
Ecler was one for me. Anyway, none of my mates have an Xone, having said that none of them have a set up full stop :(
So i'm wondering, is it pronounced, X- ONE... or Xone (sounds like Zone)..
That is all :nervous: |
