Who lies more: Men or Women? (pg. 2)

well then, that just means men lie more then women!
here are some examples of what men lie about;
- they say the will call, and they don't
- they say they will pick you up at a 11pm and they pick you up at 11:30 (WTF are most men on tropical time?)
-they say your make up looks fine without even looking at you!
- they say they will buy you rose, and they come back with carnations!:nervous:
- they say they will use a condom, and they don't <---- the WORST lie!
- they say they won't get drunk or fukked up and they do!
- they say that they will clean the bathroom and all they do is wipe the piss stains of the toilet seat
- they say they will do the dishes, which really means I will watch you do the dishes!

I didn't answer her question because it's not just men who lie. She was guilty of telling quite a large lie. "This married man is being honest with me" was the lie she told herself. And then she wrapped her future around that lie.

Why did this man tell her he was separated and then start an intense relationship with her?
Perhaps because he was separated, or considering divorce, when they met online. Maybe he wanted to see how "green the grass was" outside of marriage and perhaps he experienced enough to decide that his marriage wasn't so bad after all.
Why did he lie to her? Because that's what it took to keep her "on the hook" until he was ready to let her go.
Will she believe the next married man who tells her he is unhappily married and going to get a divorce? She might. But even if she doesn't, there are plenty of other women who will lie to themselves and believe anything he says.
