| I voted men, just based on personal experience with my boyfriend. He has lied to me quite a bit, little lies, but nontheless lies. I have only lied ONCE in 3 years to my boyfriend. It was on an issue, that I needed to lie, then later, when I knew I could trust him, I voluntarily told him the truth. |

I don't think it's correct to form an opinion about the general population based on an experience with just ONE person.
Besides that fact that if someone lies to you, and you allow it to keep happening...you're partially to blame for that behaviour by being an enabler.
I think it's stupid to complain about someone lying to you when you've chosen to do nothing about it.
I would never maintain a relationship with a friend/boyfriend who lied to me all the time, little lies or not. I'm always honest and I expect and demand the same of the people I surround myself with. |

Okay, forget my boyfriend, I still believe that men lie more than women do. Regardless of my opionion, I am intitled to one, which is I think men lie more then women do.
I am not going to break up with my boyfriend over a simple lie, that was told, not to hurt me, but most of the times to not upset me.
For example, he talks to a girl, I'm like who was that, oh nobody, just a friend of a friend...later it comes out that he dated that girl for a short period of time. I'm not going to get physco and break up with him over something like that. That is basically the extent of the lie. |

Haha, thanks. That was just an example of a "genearl lie". I can't even pin point a specific lie, just little white lies that people tell all the time. |

This poll is retarded.
You can't possibly know how much the opposite sex lies; it's entirely perception. |

I don't think it's fair to generalize and say one sexe lies more than the other. It's on a person to person basis. Some people lie, some don't. There is also a huge difference between little white lies and big lies that could potentially hurt someone. I try to be as straight up as possible, but everyone tells little lies now and then. Sometimes it's just the easier thing to do and avoids uneeded drama.
Example, telling someone they are right just so they will shut up, because in your head you really know you're right, and that's all that matters. |

Is it not lying when you make your boobs look bigger than they actually are? If your usally a B, and you make them look like they are atleast a C, thats somewhat of a lie.
