I was like oh sh*t, I'm in trouble, he caught me online!!

So he asked me what this website is about. I told him I check it periodically to learn more about the music I like, and events. He was like, "I listen to electronic music too". I didn't believe him, so he was like, "Trust me, I know all about Avalon & Giant, etc...". And everyone around us was like "Ya, he listens to that crap". hahahha! I'm excited, I like him even more now that I can relate to him about something other than work.

This could mean many things for me:

a) If I need to take a day or two off to go to see a DJ out of town, he'll understand.

b) If I come to work exhausted from the previous night or weekend, he'll understand.

c) a raise. ;)

or you run into him at the club one night all f#*k up and then that monday at work you and he are like.......:nervous: or  or ;)

my worst fear, one of my former students showing up at a club or rave event i attend. that will be the day i hang up my clubbing shoes

Thats great :-) That could be a minor form of "bonding" where he starts to see you as a real person as opposed to staff member. But I would obviously try to stay away from meeting him at the clubs or events. Other than that, it sounds great!

My assistant manager used to live in Chicago. Turns out he used to spin-out there and is friends with Bad Boy Bill. :wtf:

Hah! That would be super awkward for the studen too! I would never imagine one of my old highschool teachers in their party days

thats whats kinda odd about teaching college, ive run into a couple of my students at casinos and clubs here. I always think of my students as equals, but its still like :wtf: awkward

best one though was night before the final I was out late at a club and ran into a student who had to take my final the next day....hehe.

Julia, what's your boss' name?

I wish the bosses around here & more people were into EDM. :sadgreen:
The times I've mentioned the word TRANCE or just said clubbing to a few people, they've freaked out!
djillicit
haha, i mentioned this to mine too. we talked about edm at one point cuz i bring in cd's and we listen to some chill house 'n trance sets occasionally.

he was like "yeah, one year i went to this party downtown at the bonaventure hotel." and i'm like "oh yeah, i remember that... with giant."

i remember that night so well, i stayed up ALL night that night, since i had a flight to catch the next day.

so he looks at me and says "wow... i've never seen so many F*CKED up people!"

how's that for "bonding?"
TSG
hahahahaha!
