yea the finch buses used to run perfectly 2 years ago I was really impressed with that.. now they are always late and many times they are full and don't even bother stopping :whip:

but the subways are the worst, the power keeps going down all the time =S I take the subway daily downtown from finch station and it was almost daily that I got stuck for like 15 mins, maybe TTC hates ME! :nervous:

To be honest, I have't had many issues with trains. Like you I'm travelling from the end of the line all the way downtown, but the trains are the one thing that have remained consistent in their service. Sure there's delays here and there, that happens...but it's rare. Buses though...ugh...

a friend just called me from near eglinton station and said that the subway is indeed stopped. apparently someone decided to see what the subway looks like up close... real close.

The trains stop in the tunnels to obey signals (like stop-lights).

Short pauses within the tunnel is reasonable and should be expected.

Yea. Last thing I want is for everyone to ignore the signals.

Seems like the subway, has been causing some issues. too bad eh! I feel lucky, since i dont need to use it. i live right in the heart of downtown so i can just walk or take the street car to get around. :thepirate

I think so.... umm, maybe get off at Eglington Station and take the Avenue Bus South and get off at college and take the street car east to college and yonge?

that's my only suggestion hun!

I take it every day and haven't experienced a single problem since October 1.

I have experienced some sort of announcment on the subway about once or twice a week for the last couple of months.

September is one of the most depressing months of the year, and so the number of 'technical problems'(jumpers) significantly rises during this period of the year.
