yeah, but I started it because I was getting a bunch of "I am going to be late calls" while I am at work.... so I thought I would share with those that may need to get to and from downtown toronto!

i was on that train. happened at aroudn 4.10. service started back in 1 hour. they had paramedics, cops, fire trucks, aka the whole clean up crew.
they were announcing it as a temporary power outage though. |

It's typical that they would cover up a suicide as a technical error!

When I lived in South Korea, the subway would shut down all the time, especially in this one particular tunnel above the water! that was a lil' freaky:nervous: |

| what's the worst is being on the train and how they would stop for 7-10 minute intervals for some strange reason... i mean it's not a highway where there's traffic... i was late for an inteview thanks to this crap, even with an extra 30 minutes i gave myself added to the usual hour it takes me to get downtown.. grrrrrrrr |

TTC and the papers have an agreement that stuff like that will never get printed.
Personally, I don't blame them.
You just know some nut bar is going to see those kind of headlines and get ideas...
that and it's a little morbid to print such a thing..
...and does nothing for the TTC's image either... |
