What stupid ing advice.
Your musical inspiration will NOT always be around. If you've got the inspiration working in your favour and feel that you'll be productive, order in a male hooker to entertain your girlfriend while you produce.
I'm serious. |

think your going a bit too extreme here. when it takes over your life you have a problem. i have days when i produce then have days where ill see my girlfriend. i nearly lost my girlfriend last year wheni started producing due to spending about 12 hours a day doing it.
you need some time away from it and when you this you produce better. |

a girl gives you a reason to not produce. then you get to come back to production fresh minded. i find it hard to get the balance right, but think i am about there.
i went out with a really boring girl a few years ago. she ruined music for me the whole time i was with her. i remember the dumb bitch running off during a dj set i had been booked for. it was cos i was mixing and not paying her attention! lol. jeese, i remember having to get a mate to cover for me for a few tracks. id understand if it had been like i was djing every weekend... but this was a once in a blue moon booking. and she ruined it for me and the people who had come to see me.
my g/f doesnt love my music, but doesnt dislike it. so im happy with that. would be nice if she got as excited as me about the music but it is no problem that she has different music tastes.
i can honestly say that if a girl has absolutely not time at all for your music then she should be dumped asap. |

Yeah, cept this thread wasn't "should I ignore everything else in my life to produce music", it was "my girlfriend is an annoying bitch that gets in the way of things I want to do". As such, my point stands.
Edit: BTW, I've lived with my girlfriend for almost 4 years; don't think she's ever once bitched about me spending time in front of my computer, and rest assured I spend a lot of time there. Granted, I have ordered a lot of male hookers :toocool: |

| LOL some funny stuff here, maybe we should sticky it/ put is in the faq? But I seriously hope some of you were joking, coz otherwise I think u arent mature enough for a girlfriend! Personally I think having a g/f is good for production if she gives you inspiration and provides someone to talk to when your ears/brain need a break, but if you're only in it for the sex, and she's getting in the way of production then forget about it! (esp. if your expecting her to be an obedient little sex/food machine) |

Well my girl supports what im doing and she likes the same music, however i dont know how many times we have had fights on how much time i spend in the studio, but to many.
But one day i had enough and i said.
-The only reason you are nagging on me, is becuse you dont have any own kind of hobby, besides watching soaps and spending money on clothes. Try to find your self somthing to do and i promise that our relationship will become much easier-
So in my case it worked. She hasnt got something to do, but she relised that it was true and she is checking out different things that interrests her, and she has stoped nagging on me! =)
Cheers
