well, since i already have a canon dslr i figure if i purchase another one it would best to get another canon so i can use the same lenses rather than buying canon and nikon lenses. |

That's the only thing that stopped me from switching to Nikon when I had that big fight with Canon customer service...the fact that I've purchased all the accessories already...blah. But I'm happy now. |

| So hubby got the Canon Xti and is now bugging me about what lense to get. Should I just let him buy one of the L lenses and if so, which ones are best. Mostly portrait shots, some outdoor stuff..he's beyond an amateur :) |
